Task description

restlos.com is an online auction house for industrial and commercial surplus goods—with its own auction platform at auktionen.restlos.com. The restlos.com website serves as an upstream marketing site: an entry point for buyers and sellers, a showcase for the company and its services, and the starting point for the sales process. Based on a graphic design template by designer Andrej Schamber, this website was to be converted to WordPress and implemented with technical precision.

Implementation

The entire WordPress framework was implemented, including all key pages—the homepage, subpages for buyers and sellers, sales results, testimonials, and more. Custom post types were created for recurring content such as testimonials and brands, a brand slider was integrated, and a multi-step contact form for sales inquiries was developed. We deliberately avoided using heavy page builders like Elementor or Divi—the entire project was implemented using native Gutenberg for maximum performance and maintainability. After the project was completed, the client was trained; when needed, new content is occasionally created collaboratively.

Result

A high-performance, clearly structured marketing website that serves as a professional calling card for the actual auction platform—technically streamlined, designed in line with the brand guidelines, and easy to maintain over the long term.
