Task description

dot-spot is an LED lighting manufacturer based in Schwarzenbruck, Franconia—known for high-quality designer lights for indoor, outdoor, and wet-area applications, all manufactured in Germany. For the “MagicLine” product—a 360° uniformly illuminated light strip that can be bent in any direction and is available in various designs—a 16-page image brochure was to be created that could be used both as a print edition and as a screen-ready PDF.

Implementation

The particular challenge lay in balancing aesthetic standards with technical depth: The brochure had to convey the high-quality image of the dot-spot brand while also presenting complex product information in a structured manner—including part numbers, wattages, performance specifications, protection ratings, and technical drawings. The layout and final artwork were developed so that both worlds—the creative and the technical—coexist harmoniously.

A very striking lamp was retouched into various mood images. The result was delivered in two optimized PDF versions: one for print and one for on-screen viewing.

A professional product brochure that positions MagicLine as an innovative lighting system—visually compelling for that first impression, technically precise to help drive the purchase decision.
