dot-spot GmbH & Co. KG is a company specializing in lighting design. For a lighting project at St. Ignaz Church in Mainz, it needed a printable plan—clear, scalable, and suitable for client presentations. The request was for a simplified, vectorized lighting plan of both levels of the church, including a floor plan, marked lighting fixtures, and a clear legend.
Implementation
Based on the existing floor plan data, the church floor plan was vectorized and simplified—resulting in a clean, scalable vector graphic that lacks the technical detail of a CAD drawing but includes all relevant information for planning and presentation. The lighting elements on both floors were incorporated and supplemented with a structured legend. The result was exported as a print-ready, vector-based PDF—maintaining its format regardless of the output size.
