UX (User Experience) describes the entire experience of using a website—from the very first second until the completion of an action. Good UX means that visitors quickly find what they’re looking for, navigation is intuitive, and forms work seamlessly. UI (User Interface) refers to the visual design—that is, colors, typography, buttons, and layout. The two go hand in hand: a visually appealing interface with poor UX is still a poor website. Conversely, a well-thought-out structure with weak design comes across as unprofessional. Good web design combines both.
