The footer is the bottom section of a website. It typically contains required information such as links to the legal notice and privacy policy, often supplemented by contact information, a compact navigation bar, or social media links. The footer is less likely to be consciously noticed than the header—but it is legally important: the legal notice and privacy policy must be accessible from every page, and the footer is the standard location for them.
